MEET A FELLOW: SHAWN SCHWARTZMAN

Meet Micah Fellow Shawn Schwartzman President and Founder of Potter's House in Northwest Arkansas

MFP: What community are you looking to support and advocate for at the completion of the 2021 Micah Fellows Program cohort?

SS: At Potter’s House we are working with anyone who desires a relationship, personal growth, or care through a racially, socioeconomically diverse community.

This is a very broad group of people and we believe for our communities to become what they are meant to be there needs to be growth, relationships and learning in all aspects of our community.

MFP: What is your purpose and/or goal in the Micah Fellows program?

SS: My goal in the Micah Fellows program is to learn, collaborate, believe, and grieve with a group of like-minded faith leaders all pursuing God’s best for our communities.

MFP: Fill in the blank: I am a Micah Fellow because ____________.

SS:I want to learn and grow with faith leaders in our state. More specifically, faith leaders that are active in our state to love people and behave in such a way that the look of poverty in our state is drastically different in future generations than it is now.

 ———

SS: Our dream in Potter’s House is to help create a community that lives life together. We believe that Jesus called us to live in deep relationships with people.

Relationships where we serve, submit, love, listen and care for each other.
